The Dark Knight
Continuing developments in 2005 in “Batman Begins”. With the mass release of Arkham Asylum’s criminally insane patients, and Carmine Falcone’s god-like hold on the city shattered underworld, Gotham City’s underworld has been thrown into disarray with three warring factions - Falcone remaining empire, the mafia Chechen and a group of street thugs vying for power. As Bruce Wayne as Batman continues its struggle to clean the streets, a new and more dangerous threat arises - The Joker. The facially scarred, cold-blooded psychopath has robbed the city’s largest bank of all funds of organized crime in the city and uses it to extort money from the factions to join in and help him get rid of Batman. Meanwhile Bruce seems to find a new ally in Harvey Dent, a popular candidate to become the city the next District Attorney.
