Mirrors

From the director of “The Hills Have Eyes” comes “Mirrors”, the terrifying story of the troubled ex-policeman who must save his family from unspeakable evil that is using mirrors as a door at his home.

Ben Carson (Kiefer Sutherland), has seen better days. It has been almost a year since the volatile detective was suspended from the police fatally shoot for another secret agent, not just an accident that cost him his job, but alcoholism and fueled anger that has alienated his wife and children and it fails to his sister’s couch in Queens.

Desperate to pull his life together and return with his family, Carson took a job as night watchman in the burning ruins of the Mayflower department store. What was once a symbol of prosperity and greatness is now in decline in the dark like a ghost ship rot, destroyed by a huge fire that devoured many innocent lives.

As Carson patrols of the mysterious, remnants of the store, he began to notice something sinister about the ornate mirrors that adorn the walls Mayflower. Reflected in the giant shiny glass terrible images that are stunning Carson.

Beyond the projected images of the horrific past, mirrors appears to be manipulating reality as well. When Carson sees his own reflection to be tortured, suffering the physical effects of his fractured visions. Suddenly the troubled former policeman is fighting his personal demons and those who have kidnapped his reflection, tormenting him with seizures, spontaneous bleeding and near suffocation.

His sympathy, but skeptical sister Angela (Amy Smart) dismisses these strange “nightmare” as a result of their stress and guilt over the accidental shooting, but Carson’s separated wife Amy (Paula Patton), a no-nonsense NYPD medical examiner, is less forgive. Her husband’s increasingly erratic behavior frightened her, pushing her family farther - and fears, is to put their children in danger.

But a much more deadly threat looms, trapped inside mirrors and reflective surfaces that permeate their daily lives. As Carson investigates the mysterious disappearance of a security guard Mayflower and its possible connection with his horrible vision, she realizes that a malevolent, otherworldly force is using reflections as a gateway to terrorize him and his family.

If you have any hope of saving his wife and children from a horrible death, Carson somehow must uncover the truth behind the mirrors - and persuade Amy to help combat the greatest evil that has ever faced.
